Today we welcomed Mr Emlyn Wright, who is the Assistant Director of Education & Inclusion in Tameside. Our Head Boy and Prefects showed Mr Wright around our fabulous school and he had a chance to visit our new sensory room. Pupils were delighted to share what we do on a daily basis at Broadbent Fold. Our favourite comment from Mr Wright "You are a very forward-thinking school." We loved this comment as it reflects our ethos to get pupils ready for a future in employment.
If you can support with our raffle, please contact us. Thank you.
We received our certificate in recognition of the year 6s great work with Wizeup financial education. Well done year 6!
Our new Sensory Room is open and named the Cosy Cave by our pupils. Tomorrow we welcome Mr Emlyn Wright Assistant Director - Education & Inclusion to see this in action.

These superstars have remained on green all this half term. This means they have followed our school values being ready, respectful and safe every day. A big thank you to them for their hard work. They were chosen to have a yummy brunch with donuts, cakes, crisps and pop. They stuffed their faces and played some great tunes to listen to - Micheal Jackson's Bad was the favourite - they are certainly not bad!
Team Emerald are House Winners! Huge congratulations, you get a non-uniform tomorrow. This is for years 2-6.

Year 6 had the pleasure of welcoming WizeUp Financial Education to our school. The pupils tackled budgets, the importance of saving their money and looked at their financial future. All very important for their future in employment. Financial Education Workshops from WizeUp Financial Education Charity
The name of the new sensory room is...The Cosy Cave. As voted and created by our pupils. We are having a special sign created for this. The old computing room in KS2 has been cleared of all IT equipment, repainted and new furniture and resources have been purchased to make a calming space. We just wanted send an enormous thank you to our community your generosity developing our new sensory room. We also want to thank Lifeline4Kids, who also donated to the room, which again is fantastic.
