Gold Winners..again!

We have achieved GOLD for our School Games Mark Award for the 2024/25 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

Swimming Gala

What a great way to start the sports week - swimming gala time. Our pupils came fourth overall and have done us so proud. They were cheering each other on so loudly, showing great team work too. Big shout out to Ted who has done the last three galas now and this will be his last - which he is very happy about. Huge thank you to Bella for stepping in last minute to do butterfly. Kai, who won his butterfly race and we had many 2nd and 3rd places too.

Pupil Leaders meet CEO

Our Pupil Leaders met the CEO of the Stamford Park Trust today. They had prepared questions for Mr McGrath about our move into the trust. Some questions included: Our room is really hot, please can we have air conditioning? Why do you want Broadbent Fold in your trust? Does joining the trust mean more money for our school? Could we have more outdoor facilities like a 4G pitch or cricket pitch? Mr McGrath answered all their questions and pupils felt that this will be a great move for our school and future.

Pride Month

June is Pride Month – a time to celebrate and show support for LGBTQIA+ people across the UK and around the world. It’s also a valuable opportunity to recognise the experiences of LGBTQIA+ communities and think about how we can continue building understanding.

First Gold Award Winners!

Huge congratulations to our first pupils who have received their gold award this year! What an amazing achievement. They are all ready to head into the next half term to get their Headteacher's Award. You can do it. As always, I am super proud.
