Our superb year 3 pupil Harry has been shortlisted from all schools in the UK for his engineering design. We also received a special award as a school for our entries, led by Mrs Higham our science leader. Just brilliant achievements. Well done Harry, an engineer in the making.
Our school curriculum ensures it gets our children ready for a future in employment. This week we look closely at the jobs in Greater Manchester and beyond. We have lots planned and many visitors.
Today our Wellbeing Leader Jorge and our Mental Health Practitioner Nechen visited every member of staff and provided them with '25 ways to fill our cup'. Staff also got to choose from drinks, cakes and fruit as a special 'pick me up'.
To celebrate our Active School and all our work with the Youth Sport Trust we have had a special wall dedicated to PE and sport. Our Sports Council have designed this and chose the words to describe the skills you can achieve by taking part in physical activity. I am sure you will agree, it looks incredible. I feel very proud of all we have achieved. Well done to our pupils.
It is now time to renew our Primary Science Award. We will be celebrating science in our school and aiming to receive our PSQM again! We can do it.

Everyday this week our year 5s have popped down to reception to read with our pupils. The children are supporting and guiding each other. It is just magical to watch.
Inside Out Forest School has started with us this term to deliver high quality sessions outdoors for our pupils. Year 5 are the first to restart. We are so excited!
