Dear Parents, Carers I do hope you've had a fabulous Christmas holiday, and the children are eager to get back to school, especially after their snow day. The children have been working ever so hard last term and I hope they're buzzing to get started on our Viking topic. This term we will be finely tuning the children's grammatical terminology understanding to support them in their writing at Year 6 standard. In history, they will be delving back in time to the Vikings and taking a closer look at Ivor the Boneless and Edward the Confessor.

Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed planning, making, creating and playing their own board games. What a brilliant way to relate their writing to a design project by creating an Escape from the Island board game related to their stories. Well done Year 6.
