Year 6 have been delivered a Dyson Cool to investigate. They were very intrigued to put it together, use the controls and investigate the mechanisms. What a great resource to be sent to school as it looks like we have a set of engineers in our midst!

Year 6 had the privilege of a Safe Squad visit today. They learnt so much about personal safety, digital safety, fire safety and first aid. Some very valuable lessons were learnt and I hope that the children will use this knowledge and skills to keep themselves and others safe.

Following the recent Pupil Leaders meeting, we have now started a lunchtime Art Club for Key Stage 2! JJ and KMT have planned the ideas for the Club, ranging from sketching charactes to photographic art! Today's group enjoyed being part of the first club and produced some amazing sketches! We had some brilliant sporting success in Year 6 this week as we won our Dodgeball competition and came runners up in the County Football competition. Great work Year 6.
Our Year 5 and 6's showed great skill in the dodgeball competition tonight with our A team coming top of their group and progressing to the Tameside finals. Our B team showed great teamwork and really improved throughout their matches - they caught lots of people out and showed great dodging skills. Great job everyone!
