Science fair fun

This week, we have been celebrating National Science week. The Year 6 children planned and delivered a Science Fair for the whole school. We got to take part in a variety of activities which were so much fun! Thank you to Year 6 who made us feel very comfortable, changed their language so we understood what we had to do and made it a fun experience for us!

Science Fair Fun!

Year 4 had lots of fun at the Science Fair! A big thank you to Mrs Higham and the Year 6's for organising and running all of the fantastic stations.

Last Science Fair Sessions

The Year 6's didn't disappoint with their enthusiasm on the last afternoon of the science fair. They were exceptional with Y2 and Y4 explaining and leading the experiments. What a fantastic set of budding scientists and teachers I have in Year 6. Well done everyone.

Day 2 Science Fair

Yet again, Year 6 were ready and bursting to get started with running the science fair for Key Stage 2 today. Our first visitors were Year 3 and Year 5 who had a brilliant time. Well done again Year 6 for a fabulous event.

Science Fair

The science fair got started today with a bang! Great job Y6. Year 1, Nursery and Reception had a fantastic time and I'm sure they learnt an awful lot. What a great way to start the week.

Buddy Reading in Y6

Year 6 were so brilliant when Year 2 came and shared their reading books. They supported them to read their books, make bookmarks and shared our class book- The Arrival. They supported the children and were so very kind and caring. Well done Year 6.

Reading with Year 6

Year 2 children really enjoyed sharing their reading books and their favourite stories with Year 6 children. Thank you Year 6 for being super role models.
