Welcome to Year 4!
Miss Mainprize is the Class Teacher and Mrs Gething is the Teaching Assisstant in Years 3 and 4.
Our topic in Autumn 2 is 'Can you hear me all the way around the world?' where we will be learning all about sound, capital cities and where countries are in the world.
Here is some information you may find useful:
- PE is on Monday (hockey - outdoor). Please make sure that any earrings are taken out.
- Swimming is every Thursday so make sure you have a swimming costume/trunks, towel and swimming hat for long hair.

We have had a wonderful start to Year 5! Our topic for Autumn 2 is “Can you crack the code to become a spy?”. The class received a mysterious briefcase that had a coded message inside it. The message contained a secret mission.

This half term will continue to immerse the children in the expectations of Year 6. I will be explicit in how we can raise standards to ensure the children know what they need to do this year to be secondary school ready. These standards will be interwoven into our work in our second topic of the year- Did we come from apes? Here we will explore evolution, learn about Charles Darwin and Alfred Wallace and investigate our heritage.Here are a few important dates for this half term:
