Numbers in Real Life! Thank You!

A HUGE THANK YOU to those people who sent in photographs for our "Numbers in Real Life" display!  We received some amazing photographs from all around the country, proving that numbers are absolutely everywhere around us!  Here are just a few of the photographs we received.  Thank you again.  Mrs Blomeley

Year 4 Autumn 2

Well I truly can't believe that it's November on Monday and we're into our second half term in Year 4. Our next topic enables us to jet off around the world, discovering different hemispheres, continents, countries, cities and really improve our geography knowledge. Please see the attached Medium Term Plan and Home Learning Grid for this half term. Enjoy your last few days of the holidays and I look forward to seeing you all on Monday.

Kind regards

Ms McCoy

Excellent Work from Year 4

A massive congratulations to our merit winner Isobel and Ruby  for their excellent attitude towards their home  learning. Sam and Nathan for their exceptional use of our vocabulary ninja words. Also to Oliver and Polly for earning their good to be green pencils. Lots of children have earned their bronze awards too. Exceptional work.

Year 4 Super Stars

A massive congratulations to our merit winner Lucy and Summer for their excellent attitude towards their learning. Also to Eva, Evie and Ellis for earning their good to be green pencils. Exceptional work.

Space Week...

The planetarium from Jodrell Bank visited our school for year 2s topic and to celebrate Space Week. It was out of this world!

National Poetry Day 2021

Years 3, 5 and 6 took part in a poetry workshop with the amazing Michael Rosen on National Poetry Day. We watched Michael perform some of his poetry and joined in along with him. I know that Year 6 particularly enjoyed 'No breathing in class'  Please look at Michael's website for many more poetry ideas and performances: Michael Rosen | Official Website He is certainly inspiring.

Year 4 Trip to Chester

What an absolutely amazing day Year 4 had in Chester- I was very proud to be their class teacher. Have a look at the photographs to see how much fun they had on the Roman Soldier tour. It was a great day and what a fantastic opportunity to enhance the children's learning,  experiencing first-hand the relics of real Roman sites and having access to a range of historical artefacts.
