Today is Safer Internet Day and we have joined a live lesson on Tech We Can to learn more about the importance of keeping safe online. 

Year 6 completed a mock trial today with Sean Bostock from the magistrates court. How fascinating it was to go through a trail, inspiring Year 6 to become part of the judicial service in Geat Britain. 

As part of National Storytelling Week, Year 6 have created Viking sagas inspired by music. The children shared their stories with us, bringing their dramatic tales to life through powerful language, rhythm and atmosphere.

Well done to this weeks Head-Teacher ,Good to be Green and handwriting award winners. An outstanding effort from you all this week. Well done to our 3 children who have no reached 100 star points and achieved their bronze award! Keep up the hard work!

A big well done to our Year 2 children who received their awards today. 

Year 2 children worked in pairs and used a storyboard and dice to help generate ideas for their stories and then they retold their stories to the class. 

As part of National Storytelling week, Soundtrack Your Story, Year 6 wrote Vikings Sagas inspired by Richard Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries. They shared their stories with their Y1 buddy readers on our Viking Dress up day and the children were astounded. 

Year 4 loved sharing their favourite stories in Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) today as part of National Storytelling Week.
