Reception have been learning all about plants and what they need to grow.

We have looked at Vincent Van Gough's famous sunflowers painting and made our own collages based on his work.

Today we used our iPads to go on a virtual tour of Ordsall Hall which is a Tudor house in Salford. After completing some research we created some factual posters. Please have a look at some of our posters.

Year 5 worked in small groups to discuss possible reasons why Anglo-Saxons invaded Britain. We discussed push and pull factors and how these factors can still have an effect today. 

We had a lovely morning finessing our times tables skills, completing a daily mile and then ending with a guided meditation. We are now ready for the rest of our day. 

Year 5 were improving their football skills with our sports coach. 

Year 3 are loving their athletics lessons. 

Year 5 had a fantastic cooking session at Rayner Stephens! They showed good team work, communication and listening skills to complete their cooking tasks. They cooked mushroom soup and honey shortbread. 

It is now time to renew our Primary Science Award. We will be celebrating science in our school and aiming to receive our PSQM again! We can do it.
