This term, our exciting topic is ‘Where Will YOUR Powers Take You?’ We’ll be learning all about superheroes, the UK and the amazing people who help others every day. From firefighters and paramedics to police officers and superheroes with capes, we’ll discover what makes someone a real hero! We’ll also be having our very own Superhero Dress-Up Day!  Remember, we all have our own special powers and talents. What’s your superpower?

Autumn 1- Year 4 learning will be based on the theme of The Romans!

We are looking forward to exploring how important The Romans were in Britain and will read a class text aswell as going on a school visit to Chester's Grovesnor Museum.

Welcome to Year 6 with Mrs Higham and Mrs Taylor. We are really looking forward to teaching the cohort and supporting them in their final year at Broadbent Fold.  I do hope that you've all had a fabulous summer holiday, and the children are raring to get cracking for our first term in Year 6. This half term starts by ensuring the children understand the expectations of Year 6. I will be explicit in how we can raise standards to ensure the children know what they need to do this year to be secondary school ready.

Welcome to Year 5! Please find attached Autumn 1's medium term plan and home learning grid.

Have the best summer year 3. Thank you for your hard work all year.
