We had a great time at the Science Fair. Thank you Year 6.

Broadbent Fold are celebrating the world of science this week. Mrs Higham and the year 6 pupils have put together some outstanding fairs and experiments. 

The science fair got started today with a bang! Great job Y6. Year 1, Nursery and Reception had a fantastic time and I'm sure they learnt an awful lot. What a great way to start the week. 

Thank you to everyone who entered our World Book Day completion. The Reading Ambassadors had time on Friday to choose the winners from each class.

This week's awards were given for showing great empathy in our 'Explorer' Reading Gem work and for great enthusiam iwhen reading to an adult!  Good to be Green awards were given to those who have demonstrated our school values of being Ready, Respectful and Safe!  Well done everyone!  Mrs Blomeley

Year 5 had an amazing array of book characters yesterday!  They included Mr Twit, Frodo Baggins, Darth Vader, Where's Wally and Willy Wonka to Ghostbusters, Hermione Grainger and Glenda from Wicked!  Alex Ryder was out in force and Super Mario made a guest appearance!  We even had  a Dictionary!  Everyone looked fantastic!  Well done Year 5!

Our Year 5 and 6 boys' football team did us proud yesterday with a nail-biting semi-final at home against St. John’s!  Drawing 2-2 at full time, our boys scored a goal in extra time!  Unfortunately, St.

Where's the cheese Gromit? 

A big well done to our awards winners this week! Headteacher's certificates were awarded for effort in writing and for book knowledge in DEAR. Congratulations to our Good to be Green lottery winner.
