Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their first volleyball lesson. It was quite a challenge to bump the ball backwards and forwards in our drills but they all tried really hard.

We can feel the buzz of excitement in Year 2 ...."beeeing the best we can".
Sharing a fabulous non- fiction book is our first hook to stick children's interest into reading.
Find attached our MTP and Home Learning Grid.
Welcome back to Spring Term 2 in Year 5 where our topic about Rainforests and Climate Change will continue. Our upcoming Assembly to the children in school will serve to spread our learning about this ongoing problem. Children will also extend their geographical knowledge of the world when we explore different biomes. As well as Rainforests, the children will learn about the features of Deserts, Tundra, Taiga, Aquatics and Grasslands!

Year 4 had lots of fun designing and making Tudor pottage in groups. They picked which vegetables and stock they wanted to add. Then, they used fantastic peeling, slicing, dicing and blending skills to make it. We hope you enjoyed tasting it when they brought it home!
Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 girls' football team who won their game against St Mary's Catholic Primary School (Dukinfield) 8-1 and progress to the semi finals of the Kate Stonehewer Cup.
Welcome back to Spring 2. This half term we will explore the Ted Hughes text 'The iron man' about bravery, acceptance and prejudice. Our learning all links to the text so please read the topic information attached. We have a Crumble Coding workshop on 3rd March. Please ensure that this is paid for in the first week back. We will also take part in events for World Book Day and British Science Week. See attached the new Home Learning Grid which children should complete over the next six weeks.
