World Maths Day Visitor in Year 5 and 6!

Year 5 and 6 joined together after lunch to welcome our visitor, Anthony, who discussed the importance of Maths in his electrical business.  As well as learning about the main sources of electricity in the world, the children had to identify some unfamiliar objects and explain their relevance to electricity.  Anthony was extremely impressed by their knowledge and thoughtful questions and answers.  It is always good to hear about how people use Maths in their careers!  The children were brilliant hosts!  Thank you Anthony for taking the time to visit us - we all really enjoyed your workshop!

Our Year 5's showed great teamwork and determination winning one game, losing one game and drawing one game. Well done to everyone that took part!
