The children in Year 6 have some very creative ideas to make their board games. I'm really looking forward to their end product and playing them.

Year 6 braved the cold today in their PE lesson. Great work during the basketball session today.
This morning, we arrived at school to see CCTV footage of Erol the Elf skipping through our classroom! He left us a letter and two chocolate advent calendars.
Today, we shared our new class text 'The Jolly Postman.' The children enjoyed taking out the letters and reading them.

Year 6 had a fabulous time in their penultimate lesson with Charles. It's great having such a fantastic role model for the children to participate in sports with them. He will be sorely missed.

Yesterday we experimented using chocolate how to replicate the formation of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. We had a lot of fun.
Look at the Year 6 excellent Island creations they made for their home learning projects. I look forward to making these into board games with you all. Well done.
Awards in Year 5 this week were given for helping others with their Scratch projects in Computing, together with a whole class merit, which was awarded for Year 5's hard work and excellent behaviour during their Bikeability sessions earlier in the week. Good to be Green awards were given, as always, to those who have followed our school rules of being Ready, Respectful and Safe. Amazing work on Mathletics led to Gold certificates! Well done everyone! Mrs Blomeley

A big well done to the Year 3 and 4 girls for competing in a futsal festival this evening. It was many of the girls first time representing school and although some were a little nervous at the start, their confidence really increased throughout the tournament. The girls showed fantastic teamwork and cheered each other one with lots of chanting and singing. Thank you to our Year 6 Game Changers who also came along this evening and helped to coach the futsal teams.
Amazing job girls!
