More Bronze Awards this week for achieving 100 Star points which is amazing!  Headteacher's certificates were given for brilliant recall of facts from our class reading sessions and for being kind and considerate to others.  Good to be Green awards were given, as always, for following our school rules of being Ready, Respectful and Safe.  This half term's handwriting award was presented for consistently joined and well-formed handwriting.  Well done everyone!  Mrs Blomeley

Congratulations to the Year 2 children who received certificates this morning. We had Headteacher's Award for great persuasive writing and effort in all subjects. There were two Good to be Green lottery winners and two children received their Bronze Awards. Well done!

Year 6 have been delivered a Dyson Cool to investigate. They were very intrigued to put it together, use the controls and investigate the mechanisms. What a great resource to be sent to school as it looks like we have a set of engineers in our midst! 

Lots of awards this week! Well done to this weeks Head-teacher, Good to be Green and Handwriting champions. Year 1 have received a Head-Teachers award for ‘working their socks off!’ Well done to all of of bronze star point award winners too, they have reached 100 star points! Well done to H, A, I, E and T who have received special awards / achievements at their outside of school clubs! A huge congratulations to them.

Mr Berry created our own poster for school - he even wrote our school name in Chinese - you can see this in our EYFS unit. Thank you Mr Berry. 

Year 6 had the privilege of a Safe Squad visit today. They learnt so much about personal safety, digital safety, fire safety and first aid. Some very valuable lessons were learnt and I hope that the children will use this knowledge and skills to keep themselves and others safe.
