Mrs Catherine Parker - Head Teacher

Relationship Sex Education

PSHE/RSHE Leaders: Mrs Anson and Mrs Parker

Our policy has been created under consultation with parents, carers, pupils and governors. It is relevant and responsive to the needs of our school pupils and community issues.

School follows the SCARF curriculum, which is a whole-school framework for building the essential life skills to support physical and emotional wellbeing – crucial for children to achieve their best, academically and socially. Lessons are inclusive and engaging with careful sequencing of activities with the guidance of our pupil voice. School staff deliver the curriculum alongside health professionals. All learning is in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025.

Parents have the right to withdraw pupils from some/all of Sex Education, but a discussion must take place with our Headteacher.
