Continuing with our micro:bit survey that we are taking part in, today we coded the micro:bits to help us count the number of different species of animals and plants in our school environment. The code was quite tricky but the children were quick to pick it up and then enjoyed exploring the school grounds looking for different types of life.

Our Year 5 and 6 rounders team took part in the rounders final tonight for the 7 best primary schools in Tameside. They have really improved their communication skills in their fielding and managed to get lots of players out. You did Broadbent Fold proud, great job everyone!
