The girls football team played a cup match against Buckton Vale Primary School on Friday. They played fantastic together and won the match 2-0. Darcy was the player of the match for her brilliant goalkeeping skills. Well done girls!
Broadbent Fold were amazing at Cross Country this weekend, running for a third Saturday- representing the school with pride. Well done to everyone involved. I was very proud of you all. Just fabulous!

On Monday, Broadbent Fold took part in the quicksticks competition where we had a Year 5 team and a Year 6 team taking part.
The Year 5 team came 4th in the tournament beating Audenshaw Primary School 3-0, drawing with Corrie Primary School (B team) 0-0 and Yew Tree Primary School 0-0 and losing to Corrie Primary School (A team) 0-2.
Year 5 have been identifying the trees using their leaves and using their senses to find the trees.
Broadbent Fold pupils gave up their Saturday morning to represent school in the second cross country race of the year. A big well done to everyone who took part.

This week is anti- bullying week.
Children as part of their e-safety learning will discuss how to be kind online.
Think about what would you do if someone was being unkind to you or your friend? (This could be online or in person)
Share the ideas of how to be kind with your teacher and friends. At home share how to keep safe online.
Remember be kind.
It was a very busy night for our football teams with both the boys team and girls team playing against Yew Tree Primary School.
The girls team showed great teamwork and communication skills winning their match 1-0.
The boys team showed great perseverance throughout their match but lost 3-2. Harley was the player of the match for his fantastic defending skills.
Well done to everyone that played and thank you to Yew Tree for organising the matches.
Lots of pupils braved the cold on Saturday morning for the first cross country race this year. I was so impressed with the sportsmanship of everyone who took part and how everyone was cheering the pupils who were racing on.

Well done to everyone who took part!
What a shining beacon and a brilliant example of excellence Ellis is in Year 4. In his own time he raised £446 for the Alzhemer's Society. He completed a memory walk in aid of his grandad Jeff. We are all very proud of you Ellis- well done.
