Congratulations to our KS1 and KS2 dance teams who were both crowned champions at the School Spirit Showdown! They have been working so hard on their street dance routines in their after school club and did our school proud! A big thank you to Laura and Molly from United Sports Coaching who choreographed and taught our teams their routines.

Alice in wonderland was shared by The Royal Ballet and Opera. Everybody dance.
Year 2 even tried to join in! Some children spoke about watching pantomimes but this was the first ballet watched by some children!

Mrs Tonge and Year 2 carried out an investigation to find out which materials were waterproof.
Scientific vocabulary was used including absorbant, waterproof and children used such words to make predictions and conclusions.
A big well done to our Year 2 children who received their certificates today.
Wow just look at our lovely presentation throughout school. These children have been selected to win the Handwriting Award this half term and their work is proudly on display. They all won a certificate and special pencil.
