Year 2 explored the school field to count the insects. They used a tally chart to count the animals.

The rainy weather didn't stop year 3 practising their football skills with Mr Williams today. They looked at different skills including passing, dribbling and shielding.well done to the PE champion this week Aila.

Well, Year 6 created a 3 course dinner today when they visited Rayner Stephens. They peeled, chopped, stirred, mixed, rolled and cooked a tomato or carrot soup, a selection of sweet muffins and a cheesy pizza. The facilities and children were brilliant and thoroughly enjoy eating their creations. 

One of our favourite competitions of the year - glow dodgeball! Well done to Year 5 and 6 who showed fantastic dodging, throwing and catching skills! A special shout out to Lottie who didn't stop and helped out another school who were a player short when it was supposed to be her break! 

What a great sports day for years 3, 4, 5 and 6! Thank you for all the helpers that ran the stations and a big well done to everyone that took part!

Well done Year 1 and 2 for a great sports day! The tug of war was definitely the favourite event of the day - not sure if that was for the children or the parents! 

Lots of fun fun had by all at the EYFS sports day! Well done to the pupils for completing a hurdles, egg and spoon, bean bag balancing and sprinting race.

A huge congratulations to our year 5/6 cricket team who have qualified to represent Tameside in the Cheshire County finals! We are so proud of you all! 

Year 4 loved taking part in the cricket tournament on Tuesday in Sports Week. It was great to see the children who play for clubs helping and encouraging those children who were less confident. Well done everyone for your fantastic teamwork and a special well done to Ruby who won both of their games!
