Friday Awards

This week Headteacher's certificate was awarded to all Year 2 children for settling in well in Year 2 and demonstrating excellent manners. we also had two Good to be Green lottery winners. What a great start to the new academic year. Well done Year 2! Keep it up.


Our new Pupil Leaders...

Our new Pupil Leaders have been voted and they have received their badges in assembly this morning. Well done to these excellent role models, who will be the voice of our pupils. Our first meeting next week will look at safeguarding.


Welcome to Nursery!

Welcome to our Nursery!

We are enjoying our first few days at school. The children are settling in well, I am so proud of them!

This half term we will be sharing the story of 'The Little Red Hen'. We will be baking bread, making pizza and looking for signs of autumn. Please find attached the Medium Term Plan and Home Learning Grid for anyone wanting to do some additional learning.

Welcome Back to Year 3!

Welcome back to year 3. I hope you have had a wonderful summer holidays.

Please have a look at the new topic information for Autumn 1- Where would you travel to? We will be focusing on gerography of the UK looking at countries, counties and cities. Our home learning grid gives extra homework ideas for children to do- please share any work completed using Seesaw. 


Place value work in Maths

Year 4 have made a great start to the year and have been working really hard in their Maths work. They have been learning all about the place value of numbers to 1000. They have represented them with dienes and place value counters and also estimated where they go on a number line. Well done Year 4; keep up the hard work!


A Super Start

Well Year 6 you have impressed me this morning. Your work ethic, drive and determination during comprehension and arithmetic was phenomenal. Keep it up!


Class charter

In class we spoke about children's rights, the right to learn and play, the right to be educated. This has helped us understand how important school is and how lucky we all are.

Being Ready, Respectful and Safe at Broadbent Fold ensures all have these rights.
