Year 5 started their learning journey in Rounders yesterday, by practising their throwing and catching skills.  We finished off the session by playing a game of Danish Long Ball, which the children enjoyed.  It also demonstrated their excellent teamwork skills!  Mrs Blomeley

Awards in Year 5 this week were given for always being a superstar with beautiful manners and a great attitude,  and for showing enthusiasm with a brilliant start to our new Science topic!  Good to be Green awards, as always, were given for following our school rules of being Ready, Respectful and Safe.  The whole class have made an excellent start to Year 5 this half term!  Well done everyone!  Mrs Blomeley

Year 4 have been enjoying taking part in the TCS Mini London Marathon this week and we have had the perfect weather for it too! They are ttying to run 2 miles each by Friday 2nd May. Come on Year 4, you can do it!

Congratulations to the children who received their certificates today. The Headteacher's certificates were awarded for great work in Art and Maths. Well done to the children who achieved their Bronze Awards and to Good to be Green lottery winners. 

Year 6 have been practising Gymnastics by doing roles, jumps, balances and on hands; they have been doing tuck jumps, star jumps, pencil jumps and twist jumps.

Well done to our class winners today. 

Year 3 enjoyed their first athletics lesson looking at good techniques for sprinting in 2 metre races and in relay races.

Year 3 role played what it would be like to be evacuated as a child during WW2 today. They showed great understanding and empathy skills.
