Well done to these children for receiving an award and to all Year 6 for winning this weeks Sports Award!

Dreaming Big in Year 5!

Year 5 had a special visitor today!  As part of Career’s Week,  Lydia from Dream Big Sports came into class to explain how she had worked hard to get her current role within her very successful company.  They provide sports coaching and training to young people around Manchester, including Holiday Camps!  She talked about the different pathways that could lead into a job like hers, and discussed how having the right, positive attitude is just as important as gaining academic skills.  Sports enthusiasts from Year 5 were inspired by her visit!  Thank you Lydia!  Mrs Blomeley

Careers Week Visitor

A big thank you to one of our parents who came in to talk about her career in safeguarding and why it is so important. Year 4 had lots of fantastic questions to ask about her career and the steps she took to get her job.

Careers Fair

Year 4 enjoyed attending the careers fair on Monday where they got to ask lots of questions to people who work in our community. This inspired us to think about our own career goals for the future!

Athletics

Year 4 have enjoyed their athletics lessons this half term where they have learnt not only how to do running, jumping and throwing events but also how to time and record results. Well done everyone!
