Year 4 had a fantastic day last Friday when we celebrated World Book Day! From Captain America to Superman, and Little Red Riding Hood to Mary Poppins, the children's outfits were amazing!  There were moments when it felt like we had stepped into Hogwarts with various characters from the Harry Potter books such as Tom Riddle, Hermione Grainger and Harry himself!  We even had pink haired Moody Margaret to join Horrid Henry!   World Book Day reading activities, together with a visit from the author Ken Metcalfe the previous day, were all fun and inspirational and definitely served to demonstrate our focus of "Reading for Pleasure".  Mrs Blomeley
