Welcome to Year 3's home page.  

Mrs Slate and Ms McCoy are the Year 3 class teachers and throughout the year we will be taking an exciting journey by Hot Air Balloon, travelling back to the Stone Age, through to the air raids of Stockport during World War 2.  Taking in along the way  an experience with the BBC's Ten Pieces project which explores classical music at its best! 

Key information:

PE kits are needed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Spellings are given out each Thursday.

Online Maths homework (my maths) set every Friday. Further details in reading diaries.

Online English homework (bug club -  a book to read online and answer reading comprehension questions) set at the start of every month, please encourage children to read a bit each week rather than all at once.  Bug club is also done in school so children will know how to do this independently. Further information in reading diaries.

Creative homework is set once a half term, a letter will be sent at the beginning of each half term.
