Welcome to Broadbent Fold Primary School and Nursery!

Thank you so much for considering us as your child's first school/nursery.  We understand what a huge decision choosing your child's school/nursery is and this has been made more difficult due to the circumstances we find ourselves in this year which means parents/carers are not able to visit schools in person.

Therefore, we have set up a page on our website which we hope will give you a flavour of what life is like at Broadbent Fold and enable you to get a feel for our ethos, culture and learning style.

Below are some helpful facts that you need to know about us:

Applying for a Nursery place:

Please phone or email school with your child’s full name, date of birth and home address.  We are a 26 place Nursery and offer 15 hours morning sessions Monday to Friday 9.00am to 12.00pm or 30 free hour Nursery places (if eligible), with the option of paying wraparound for afternoon sessions if you do not qualify for the free 30 hours. 

Please note that unfortunately attendance at the Nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception at Broadbent Fold.

Applying for a Reception place at Broadbent Fold Primary School and Nursery: 

For Reception admissions we follow the co-ordinated admissions process managed by Tameside Council. You can apply for a place from 1st November (every year), please go to the following link to apply

or go to https://www.tameside.gov.uk/admissions. The School is then notified in April of pupils allocated a place for the following September.
