This half term Year 6 will be preparing for the SATS tests which take place in May. We will be taking part in lots of revision topics to build confidence and fully prepare children for their assessments. Please join us on Tuesday 18th April after school for a parents meeting about the SATS tests. 

Our topic information for the half term can be found attached along with additional home learning activities. We will look at the suspense story, Skellig, which is a big favourite with year 6 each year. We will base our suspense writing on this text this term. We will also be investigating how animals and plants are classified scientifically. We will link this to exploring how animals and plants adapt to survive in desert conditions. We will be looking a lot at coding this half term in computing. Our Crumble Workshops at Rayner High look very exciting.
