Welcome to Year 2 2021-2022.
I hope you have enjoyed reading your ‘meet the teacher’ leaflet, finding out about some of the exciting activities and experiences planned for the year ahead. I look forward to getting to know each of you in September and welcoming you back after your summer break.
Here is some information you may find useful:
Creative home learning is set at the beginning of every half term. The home learning grid is uploaded onto the school blog, seesaw and a paper copy will be sent home. The home learning activities are to be completed and uploaded to seesaw at your own leisure or presented in your child’s homework book. Homework books will be collected in the last week of each half term.
Reading books and reading records will be monitored each week so please ensure they are brought to school every day.
Please ensure your child has a clearly labelled PE kit for indoor and outdoor lessons. All clothing and footwear must be labelled. PE will take pleace every Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon. The children will come home in their PE every Thursday for washing and need to be returned every Monday.
Please make sure you check out our class blog and seesaw to stay updated with our most current adventures!
