Year 6 have started off brilliantly. Today, they found out how their eyes work and had lots of intriguing questions. They had the chance to log into their google chrome account to complete additional research. Great work Year 6!
Look at our new school active uniform. The pupils sprinted into school this morning, ready to learn, ready to be active and happy. Well done everyone for supporting this move. We are very proud.
Take a look at our new Prefects. What a fabulous group of pupils have been voted to represent our school. They are able to give out star points too, so are helping teachers spot excellent behaviour.
I am very proud to announce that Toby and Millie are our New Head Girl and Head Boy for 2025 -2026. They applied for the position last year and our last year 6s voted for them. What brilliant leaders and role models we have.
Welcome to Year 6 with Mrs Higham and Mr Leach. We are really looking forward to teaching the cohort and supporting them in their final year at Broadbent Fold. I do hope that you've all had a fabulous summer holiday, and the children are raring to get cracking for our first term in Year 6. This half term starts by ensuring the children understand the expectations of Year 6. I will be explicit in how we can raise standards to ensure the children know what they need to do this year to be secondary school ready.

Lots of fun had in the girls' football tournament against St Mary's, Dukinfield for years 3-6. It was lovely to see so many girls playing football. Well done everybody!
