What an excellent week with Year 6.
Our Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in a hockey competition this evening where they showed great sportsmanship and determination. Well done to our Year 6's who came 3rd in their group. A big congratulations to our Year 5 team who came top of their group and progress to the finals next week.

Our Sports Leaders recieved their badges and certificates yesterday for completing their young ambassadors training. They have lots of fantastic ideas and we cannot wait to see what they do!

Year 6 have been working really hard to ensure they can add and subtract fractions. They've even managed the challenges of adding and subtracting mixed numbers. Keep up all the hard work Year 6!

Year 6 have arrived at Aviva Studios for our Poetry in the Community project led by Gyles Brandreth. We're looking forward to our day. The children have had an amazing day working with Matt Goodfellow and Dom Conlon.
Our Young Ambassadors completed their training tonight and came up with lots of ideas for how to promote sport and physical activity in our school. We cannot wait to see what they do! They also enjoyed meeting Andy Robertson, a GB sprinter, and learning about how he was a Young Ambassador when he was younger.

Our next mission is to encourage children to make a Book Review.
