Year 6 learnt how to save lives and keep themselves safe if they found a casualty. They thoroughly enjoyed being an active First Aider. DRABC was a fabulous acronymn for the children to remember how to get help and who to ring (999 or 112) and what to say.

Important messages were shared with Year 6 today about how to keep safe on line. They discussed what social media they were on, who they're chatting to, how they know whether the person is real, how many followers they have and how to keep themselves safe whilst they are online. The children's experiences were shared and it became apparent how important it is to keep themselves safe online when Safe Squad highlighted how children who are online can be groomed.
