Greater Manchester Police visited Broadbent Fold for a school engagement programme. They engaged the children in how to keep themselves safe from ringing 999,911 or 222, using What 3 Words, how to describe a culprit, and how to stop and search. The children and staff under went several physical challenges and had to answer questions to keep points. Paul and the officers explained the issues that the GMP are facing within Greater Manchester with regards to drugs and knife crime.

We were lucky enough this afternoon to have a visit from Ash Randall, the freestyle footballer. He showed his fantastic skills that he has been practising for over 20 years and taught us the importance of perseverance. Our Game Changers and some of the teachers even got to have a go at some of the skills!

Our Game Changers have done a fantastic job organising events for Made for this Game day.
The girls enjoyed having a girls only football competition at lunchtime today and the whole school have loved challenging themselves to see how many passes they can do in 1 minute.
Don't forget you have until Wednesday to bring in your letters to Ella Toone and your posters for the Made for this Game competition.
