Year 6 avoided the rain to enjoy their first hockey lesson.
Our teachers have had training with the British Orienteering association today. Orienteering is an exciting outdoor adventure sport that exercises mind and body. The aim is to navigate between checkpoints or controls marked on a special orienteering map. There is no set route so the skill and fun come from trying to find the best way to go! In competitive orienteering, the challenge is to complete the course in the quickest time.

Year 6 had the opportunity to detect crimes today by taking fingerprints of each other. They discussed modern day crimes and their punishments and were intrigued to find out about countries still with the death penalty.

The children have worked really hard this week and taken on roles and responsibilities. They have been proactive in organising our class charter so that everyone is able to access the best education they can. What a wonderful display they've created too.
