Pokémon Cup Runners Up

A huge congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 boys' football team who were the runners up in the Pokemon Cup yesterday out of all the schools in Tameside! We are so proud of you boys!
Broadbent Fold vs Buckton Vale
Well done to our Year 5 and 6 boys football team who put up a tough fight in their game on Monday which ended 1-0 to Buckton Vale. They showed amazing determination right up until the final whistle was blown. Well done boys!

Our Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils loved taking part in the Tameside Sports Quiz on Friday! We were impressed with how much everyone knew! A huge congratulations to the Pickleboys (a year 5 team) who scored 50/60 and came 4th in Tameside!
Glow dodgeball

Lots of fun was had at the glow dodgeball competition last week by our Year 5 and 6 pupils. It was great to see everyone having fun, dancing and encouraging each other. Well done everyone!

Lots of fun was had at the ten pin bowling competition by some of our KS2 pupils. Well done for scoring so many spares and strikes! You did our school proud!
Play Leaders
Our Year 6 play leaders recieved their certificates and badges for completing their training. They have been doing a fantastic job running lots of sports activities at lunchtimes with the Year 1 and 2 pupils. Keep up the hard work play leaders!

What a brilliant afternoon we had sharing our poems. What an amazing turn-out of support for the children in Year 6 and we raised £82 for school funds. Thank you so much for your continual support.
Amazing handwriting
Wow just look at our lovely presentation throughout school. These children have been selected to win the Handwriting Award this half term and their work is proudly on display. They all won a certificate and special pencil.
