The mysterious fruits

Such interesting and creative fruits that the class have created! They designed how the fruit would look and how it would look if cut in half. 


Dance - Hakka

This term in P.E, year 5 are learning to dance the Hakka with our amazing sports coach! By the end of Spring 2, they will have a dance routine.


Walk to School Badge Competition

Broadbent Fold pupils has been busy designing walk to school badges as part of the Living Streets project - Walk the Senses. A big congratulations to our 3 school winning entries that will be entered into the national competition - JJ, Kai and Mason. 


Year 5 Why Should the World's Rainforests Matter to All of Us?

Welcome back to Spring 2; we are now halfway through year 5! This term, we continue to explore our topic “Why should the world’s rainforests matter to all of us?”. We will learn about Greta Thunberg and her efforts to save our planet, with a focus on climate change, and we will be working on creating a climate change assembly for the whole school to watch! In addition, we will be working on writing a new chapter to our class text, The Explorer. Year 5 will be creating a soft toy after practising some needlework!


Exotic fruit tasting

As a hook to our new writing topic (to write a new chapter about a mysterious fruit) the class tried some exotic fruits. 


Glow Futsal

Our Year 4 and 5 girls had so much fun at the very first glow futsal festival in Tameside. They showed great team work and loved dressing up for the event. Well done girls!
