Polish Day

On 11th November 1918 Poland celebrated it's independence day. As Polish is our Modern Foreign Language - we will be celebrating this event and taking part in many activities. Miss Laitl our Polish teacher will lead this. 


Anti-Bullying Week

Anti-Bullying Week 2024 will take place from Monday 11th - Friday 15th November, with the theme: Choose Respect. Odd Socks Day is taking place on Tuesday 12th November, with adults and children being encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.


Gymnastics

Today we focused on creating symmetrical and asymmetrical balances using points (small body areas) and patches (large body parts) with a partner in a simple sequence.


Hot seating

Today we did some hot seating where we got into the role of our characters in Stone Age Boy to infer what they may say in the story. We had some great acting and super oracy skills were demonstrated through our speaking and listening whilst answering questions.


Simon Hunt book reading

We have really enjoyed Simon Hunt reading his story 'Billy the bottom burping pirate' today. His book was very funny and quite disgusting. We enjoyed hearing Simon's stories too.


Poster Competition

The Reading Ambassadors have set a challenge for over half term. please see the attached details for how to create a poster for our library. Tameside Library would like our winning entries to put on their social media.

We will judge our winners on the first Friday back- 8th November


Wellbeing Wednesday

Today we did a special Halloween themed 'Draw with Rob' for our Wellbeing Wednesday activity. These are chilling!
