Stone Age experience

Year 3 had such a fun trip out today. We learned so much more about the Stone Age to Iron Age. We made fires, went gathering, did some farming using Stone Age tools, polished a hammerhead, made flour, practised making a wattle and daub wall and so much more.

Can you spot our cheeky helper Barry the elf?

Finished cave paintings

We have loved our Stone Age topic in year 3 and everyone is delighted with their finished cave paintings. I will display all of the work for everyone to see.

Paint like a cave man

Today we had the opportunity to experience painting like a real cave person. We used natural resources like charcoal and fruits to create our art work. We even had a go at experiencing what it was like to paint in a cave by painting under our tables.

Year 3 and 4 Glow Dodgeball

It was Year 3 and 4's turn at glow dodgeball tonight. They had so much fun! It was lovely to see the confidence of the pupils grow throughout the festival. Well done everyone, you did our school proud!

Good Bye to Charles at the JRF

We said thank you and good bye to Charles yesterday. Our amazing coach and mentor from the Jason Robinson Foundation. We have been so lucky to have him at our school and he has inspired the next generation to work hard and show respect. We also got to our very first rugby final and our pupils now have a passion for rugby. We are so thankful.
