We have lots of fruit and vegetables growing in our garden area. Lettuce, carrots, broad beans, strawberries, rasberries and a range of herbs. We can't wait to taste them! Gardening club have been busy weeding the other garden areas around school and taking pictures of the lovely flowers.

Year 2 had a fabulous time on their sponsored walk to Gorse Hall. We learnt about local history and raised money for our new library. Well done everyone!
This half term, year 2 will be exploring our topic question 'How can we help save our Oceans?' We will be learning about the effects of plastic pollution on our oceans and the affects of recycling. We will be taking a History / Science trip to The Blue Planet Aquarium where we will be in the role of marine biologists exploring and getting up close to marine wildlife. This morning we took part in some survival activities including foraging for edible plants, making fires and shelter building. We had a lovely time.
Congratulations to Team Sapphire who have won the House Cup. They will receive non-uniform on Friday 14th June. This team scored a huge 1,464 points. Well done!

Well done to this weeks’s Head-Teacher and Good to be Green award winners. Year 2 were awarded a Head-Teachers award for their fantastic behaviour during the year 6 SAT tests. Well done to our vocabulary ninja champion and R who has been busy at his football club, keep up the good work!
