House Team Winners

A huge congratulations to Team Sapphire, who have won the House Cup and will recieve non-uniform day on Friday 23rd February. The team scored a huge 853 points! Well done. 


Where would be be without the BEE?

This half term we will be busy buzzing about BEES! Keep watching our blog / class Seesaw to see what exciting things we get up to over the half term, especially our exciting hooks/experiences that will bring our learning to life.PE will take place every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. Please ensure your child has an indoor (pumps for Invasion Games and Gymnastics) and outdoor (warm with trainers) PE kit in school, in a clearly labelled bag. In Science this half term, we will be exploring the topic ‘Plants’ and investigating which plants we and Bees need to survive.


Design an England shirt winners

As part of Schools Football Week, pupils were tasked with designing their own England top. The Sports Council were tasked with the hard job of choosing the winning entries. We had over 100 entries so well done to those pupils who won!!

Children’s Mental Health Week

The theme of Children's Mental Health Week is Every Voice Matters. We talked about our proud moments at school and at home then we made some phones. We used the phones to show the importance of listening carefully to each other. Well done everyone! 


This week's super stars are....

Well done to this weeks Head-Teacher, Good to be Green, Vocabulary Ninja and silver star points award (100 star points) winners. Well done to the children who received their bronze, silver and gold award for their creative home learning. Well done everyone!


Pirate day!

Today, Year 2 came to school dressed as PIRATES! The children enjoyed taking part in a variety of pirate-themed cross-curricular activities including; creating their pirate names, writing onomatopoeia pirate poems on the computers, reading / writing and plotting co-ordinates in a first quadrant, putting pirate words in alphabetical order to help us use dictionaries and thesauruses, played battleships, used a 3D net to make treasure chests, learn how to talk like a pirate and singing a sea shanty song.


Handwriting Winners Spring 1 2024

Congratulations to our Handwriting Champions who have been selected to win the award this half term for either their great handwriting and presentation or for their improvement.

Children's Mental Health Week and E-Safety

Children’s Mental Health Week will take place from 5-11 February 2024. The theme this year is ‘My Voice Matters’. My Voice Matters is about empowering children and young people by providing them with the tools they need to express themselves.

This year, we want to empower children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to work together to create a positive change for their mental health and wellbeing. Our aim is for Children’s Mental Health Week, we want all children and young people to be able to say – and believe - “My Voice Matters.”
