Children learnt about different types of habitats.
They enjoyed going outdoors to do their own microhabitats enquiry survey to compare habitats.

Such perseverance and effort Year 2 children showed learning to sew.
They designed puppets and cut out, used running stitch etc to make their own designs.
Broadbent Fold are going to host our very own Spelling Bee. Over the next two weeks the Spelling Bee will be completed in paired classes- Y1/2, Y3,4, Y5/6On Monday 29th classes will test pupils on 20-30 words randomly from the common exception/statutory words list- the top 5 children go through to a knockout round.On Tuesday 30th June the paired classes get together and we will then do a knockout round.
A winner from each class will win a prize/certificate. Let's do this BBF.

To celebrate the World Cup 2026 and the pride of our national teams, we are allowing our pupils to wear national tops all the way through the tournament. We just love the diversity we have and it is important to celebrate that, whether they are in the World Cup or not.

Year 2 learnt how important it was to speak out. They met Buddy and discussed how important it is to speak up and tell someone if they are hurt on the inside or the outside.
