Well done to this week’s Head-teacher, Good to be Green and Vocabulary Ninja award children, you have continued to work extremely hard this week alongside all the Christmas festivities, good job! Year 6 have been working incredibly hard on their adventure stories about dinosaurs for their target audience- year 2 children. Today they were so excited to get to read their stories aloud to our Y2 class to get some feedback.

Well done to the children who received this weeks Head-teacher, Good to be Green and bronze awards. Year 2 received a whole class award for their fantastic singing and acting in our nativity. Today we celebrated and joined in with the National Santa dash whilst listening to some Christmas songs. Oh what fun!
After our very successful October reading challenge, the Reading Ambassadors have set a new one. Please complete a book review on one of your favourite books using the template which will be sent home. Please hand in your completed book review to your teacher by Friday 20th January for the chance of winning a prize. The best book reviews will be sent to Tameside Libraries who will display them on their Twitter feed.
I can't wait to find out which books you have all been reading!
