Great work Freya and Matthew, a lovely poster to commemorate VE Day. Well done.
Ted has been working hard today with his home learning. He has written this fantastic postcard as the penguin using adjectives and the conjunction 'but' to extend his sentence. He has also completed all of the VE Day comprehension work and has been practising his timestables on TT Rockstars. Keep up the brilliant work Ted!
Abel has made this poster all about healthy lifestyles. How many of these things do you do to be healthy? Keep up the super work Abel!
Well done Maisie in Year 2- what a comfy spot to do a bit of reading in. I love Roald Dahl books.
Please send your photographs in Broadbent Fold :)
HOME-SCHOOL INSPIRATION
If you can’t go out, why not travel the world from home?
This week the theme is travel to Japan. Take a look at the ideas below, click read more to find the document attached.
Stockport Council have produced these ideas.
Dylan has been working really hard on his home learning since we started lockdown. He is loving using Bug Club, TT Rockstars and Education City and has been keeping active by riding his go-kart, bike and scooter aswell as playing basketball with his family. Keep up the fantastic work Dylan!
Ted has baked and decorated some delicious cakes with his sister, he even included the rainbow for the NHS. He has also painted a family tree on their family room wall by using their handprints. Even the puppy got it's pawprint on the wall. Can you spot it? He has also made a pop up Pokemon ball and a poster about healty living. Keep up the brilliant work Ted!
Alyssia has been working hard with her home learning and last week based her learning around the first moon landing. She read the book 'Back to the Earth with a Bump', labelled all the planets and created a fabulous solar system and glitter galaxy. She has also been learning how to use a dictionary and wrote a list of things she would take to the moon with her. Alyssia has also been busy planting radishes, carrots and spring onions. She looked at the differences between the seeds, completed a growing diary and measured how long her vegetables were. Keep up the super work Alyssia!
Logan's Mum tells me that he has been working really hard on his Maths work and recieved a certificate for yesterdays TT Rockstars competition which he loved taking part in. He has also been keeping active by riding his bike and scooter, climbing trees and exploring the woods near where he lives. Keep up the super work Logan!
