Matilda had the fantastic idea of making a vending machine for her and Suzie. They scanned pictures of the food and made prices for how much everything would cost. Suzie then bought the snacks using real coins and Matilda was challenged by having to give the right change if she was given too much. What a great way to learn about money! I hope there are still some snacks for me and Mrs Blomeley to buy!
Ted has been busy this morning making this hot scene of a beach where he used rolled oats to make the sand. He has also done a comprehension about how to look after a dog. Amazing work Ted! Keep it up!
Abel has been very busy with his home learning so far this week. He has done a wordsearch to practise his spellings, written a fantastic diary entry as Captain Scott and completed some maths and SPaG mats. Keep up the super work Abel!
Mia has been working very hard with her home learning. She has been working hard on throwing with accuracy, made an obstacle course in her back garden, played Phonopoly to practise her phonics, created VE Day bunting for her social distance party, made fairy cakes and wrote a fantastic postcard from our lost penguin. Fantastic work Mia, keep it up!
Reuben thinks this is a "wheelie" unusual place to read his favourite book - "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl. I think so too Reuben! Brilliant! Mrs Blomeley
Logan was very busy with his home learning last week. He has practised his spellings, done some work on fractions and made a fantastic pop up picture of a monster. Keep up the fantastic work Logan!
As today is International Nurses Day why not celebrate by finding out about Florence Nightengale- can you complete any of the activities on the following link: https://app.pobble.com/lessons/preview/dedaa4cb?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=Organic&utm_campaign=Amazing_Nightingale
Can you write a diary entry about what it would have been like to work with Florence during the Crimea War?
It is lovely to see Henry enjoying reading 'The midnight gang' in the great outdoors.
My daughter enjoys David Walliams books too.
Great reading :)
