BBC Lockdown Lessons on TV

Hi everyone,

the BBC are putting school materials on TV, iPlayer and online from today. Look out for programmes on CBBC as well as iplayer and online. This will run alongside BBC bitesize. There will be 3 hours of primary school programming on CBBC a day between 9:00am and 12:00am every weekday. They will also be on the red button and iplayer. Watch out for the celebrity supply teachers like Marcus Rashford.

I have attached some useful links with great free resources to encouarge reading at home during the lockdown.

Please see : 7 top tips to support reading in KS2; reading home links; and also look at www.borrowbox.com to access free e-books and audio books from your local library.

Home Learning Week Beginning 11th January

It was fantastic to see how hard you all worked last week with your home learning and I loved seeing all the exciting things you got up to at home. Here is the information for the Zoom lessons and home learning this week. Please upload anything that you complete to Seesaw. I have also included the answers for the Maths worksheets to help you at home.

Outdoor Learning Activities

Please find attached a grid containing some outdoor learning activities that your child can do at home.  There are activities for children in early years, ages 5 to 9 and 9 to 12.  You and your child can of course choose an activity from any section. I will add a new grid each week.  Any photos or work can be uploaded on to seesaw and sent to your class teacher.  I hope that you enjoy these activities and look forward to hearing all about them.

Take care

Mrs Anson
