Year 4 had lots of fun visiting the Grosvenor Museum in Chester to learn about the Romans. Their favourite part was marching to the amphitheatre chanting 'Sin, sin, sin, dex, sin' and making the battle formations. They managed to get into formation in 2 minutes; just like the Romans did!
We had a special treat today. We joined Team Tim! We met a famous British astronaut Tim Peake who told us all about his mission to the Inernational Space Station and life in space. We also had a virtual tour of the space station.
Congratulations to these Year 2 children who received their certificates today.
Year 5 created freeze frames of Victorian working children and shared what they were thinking at the time. The pictures show children working in cotton mills and coal mines, and some were being punished with the cane.
Well done to our superstars who won awards today in year 3.

Great job Y6!
Year 5 have worked in small groups to research about 6 different planets between them. They chose their planet to be the champion of and gave each other questions to find the answer, using the Internet. They then shared their knowledge of their champion planet to their group.
