Well done to everyone who took part in the first race of the Cross Country Grand Prix this morning! It was great to see some children representing school for the first time and everyone showed great determination getting around the course!

Today in science, we learnt about why there is night and day on Earth. We also learnt about how and why a solar/lunar eclipse happens by using a torch (sun), an orange (Earth) and a lemon (moon) to investigate. It was super interesting!

After a fantastic workshop with Michael Rosen, year 6 were inspired to create their own poems about Wonder. The final results were absolutely WONDERful and the children were very proud. All of those children who wanted to have entered their poem into the poetry competition. Good luck!

Well done to our amazing learners who achieved a headteacher or good to be green award today.

This week we have been on a Leaf Man hunt! We did not find him but collected lots of leaves to make our leaf crowns, they all look fabulous.

Well done to all these boys who won the Vocab Ninja Award for using good vocabulary in their speaking and writing this term. A fantastic job.
