Tag rugby

Today we focused on passing the ball backwards whilst moving forward in our skills of tag rugby.

Planting

As part of National Science week, our Science topic (plants) and our theme 'How does your Garden Grow?' we have been creating our very own cress gardens. We planted our seeds which will look after and observe over time. Look how fantastic they look! We will learn where fruit, vegetables and herbs come from and also get to eat the cress!

Science fair fun

This week, we have been celebrating National Science week. The Year 6 children planned and delivered a Science Fair for the whole school. We got to take part in a variety of activities which were so much fun! Thank you to Year 6 who made us feel very comfortable, changed their language so we understood what we had to do and made it a fun experience for us!

Science Fair Fun!

Year 4 had lots of fun at the Science Fair! A big thank you to Mrs Higham and the Year 6's for organising and running all of the fantastic stations.

Science Fair

Year 2 enjoyed visiting the science fair with Year 6.Investigating; floating boats, looking closely using magnifying glasses, testing objects for magnetism and some amazing optical illusions.

Last Science Fair Sessions

The Year 6's didn't disappoint with their enthusiasm on the last afternoon of the science fair. They were exceptional with Y2 and Y4 explaining and leading the experiments. What a fantastic set of budding scientists and teachers I have in Year 6. Well done everyone.
