A massive congratulations to all of Year 6 for their work in English writing. The moderators arrived in school yesterday and scrutinised the children's books and agreed to all our assessments. I am so  very proud of all of their achievements. 

Year 6 are well on their way to create a scale diagram for their Theme Park. They are ensuring they have enough rides to interest potential customers and are within their one million pounds budget. 

Great work Y6 this week. 

Reception love their sessions with Mini Bikers. They all did super gliding this week and will be progressing to pedals very soon!

We are enjoying our tag rugby lessons with the new sports coach Adam.

Huge congratulations to our KS2 pupils for achieving 2nd place in the Cheshire cricket finals. They were outstanding under coach Noah. Some superb bowling, many 6s were hit and great team work supporting each other. They do progress to further tournaments in Cheshire and represent Tameside. We couldn't be prouder. Man of the Tournament was Harry - we normally don't allow him to hit so hard in school as he loses our tennis balls. Today we let him loose and he nearly hit the windows of houses surrounding the ground. Very impressive. Well done. 

Thank you to Mrs Slate our year 2 teacher who is a legend at RE and computing. She makes sure we have all the up to date technology in school and support resources for our SEND pupils. Thank you Mrs Slate for all your hard work and dedication over the years to pupils at Broadbent Fold. 

Year 3 enjoyed our World Cup themed Blooket competition this morning.
