The Wonderdone Planetarium came to visit school and we absolutely loved exploring space inside the dome!

What an amazing visit from an astronomer this morning for Year 6. The planetarium experience really enthused the class; what an awe-inspiring experience. We may get some future astronomers from today's activities. 

Year 6 have been working hard on their long multiplication and ensuring accuracy in their calculations. Well done Year 6. 

We are lucky to welcome the Wonder Dome to school in National Space Week. The children are learning about the stars and planets in an immersive experience. 

To celebrate cycle to school week, anyone riding their bike to school will get star points from Mrs Parker! 

Year 6 were really eager to get watching The Witches for our Halloween Movie Night. 

Year 5 role-played as news reporters and eye witnesses; they were asked questions to find out more about a villain. This will help them write their own news report in the near future. 

We’ve had a flying start to Year One this half term! On Friday, we enjoyed a fantastic Superhero Day, linked to our theme, “Where Will Your Superpowers Take You?” The children came dressed as superheroes — and not just those who wear capes!

Well done to this week's award winners and congratulations to X who recieved an medal for his hard work at his football club. Keep up the hard work everyone!  

Well done to everyone who took part in the first race of the Cross Country Grand Prix this morning! It was great to see some children representing school for the first time and everyone showed great determination getting around the course!
