This morning, Year 1 arrived at school to discover something very unusual… mysterious footprints had appeared! The children were full of excitement and curiosity as we began to wonder what creature or animal could have made them. We are now eagerly awaiting some CCTV footage to see if anything was spotted around the school.

Today we practised dribbling with a basketball and learnt about a triple threat position, what a double dribble is, what travelling is and how to pivot. We also practised intercepting the ball whilst someone else was dribblimg it. We then played bench basketball.

Children showed great perseverance with sketching pirates, they used sketching pencils and shading to create their pictures.
They then drew and used oil pastels to colour their pirate ship designs. Children enjoyed using oil pastels to create different affects.
