Castleton here we come. 

Awards this week were given for amazing effort in Maths with brilliant results and for representing school at Basketball!  Our Vocabulary Ninja certificate was presented for always including interesting language and Good to Be Green awards for following our school rules of being Ready, Respectful and Safe!  Fittingly, in Maths Week, we had pupils who received some amazing awards from their hard work on Mathletics!  Well done everyone!  Mrs Blomeley

Year 6 has thoroughly enjoyed cricket this half term, even requesting a set to play at break times. We've got some exceptional bowlers too. Well done everyone. 

Our Year 6 Hoodies arrived- very exciting!

This week, Headteacher's certificates were awarded for amazing writing and excellent skills in inversion games. Three children achieved their Bronze Award and two children achieved their Silver Awards. We had a vocabulary ninja and two Good to be Green lottery winners. 

Year 3 have enjoyed exploring pulley mechanisms to create cranes to pull the iron man up the hill. Great DT skills.

Well done to the Vocab Ninjas who have impressed their teachers with their use of vocabulary in their spoken and written work.

 Well done to this weeks Head-Teacher, Good to be Green and Vocabulary Ninja award winners. An excellent effort this week with half term approaching. Well done to Z who has been awarded an award at his football club. Well done Z!

Year 6 have been busy composing music using letters to record down their musical notes. They have enjoyed working in their groups and performing to the class.
