Year 5's Live Lesson for Safer Internet Day!

Year 5 showed their excellent skills and knowledge this morning when they took part in a Cyber Security online live lesson, as part of Internet Safety Day!  They were able to identify which messages were scams and learnt that, if it’s too good to be true, it usually is!  They were surprised at how many computing job opportunities there are in Cyber Security and were interested to learn about Biometrics!  Great work Year 5!  Mrs Blomeley

Dodgeball Final

Tonight, some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in the Tameside dodgeball finals where they came 3rd in their group. They showed some fantastic dodging, catching and throwing skills but most importantly demonstrated great sportsmanship. Congratulations to everyone who played and a big thank your to Courtney for stepping in last minute to play.

Scientists in year 3

We have continued to work scientifically in our science lessons. Last week we looked at the chemical reaction caused when you mix bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to make volcanoes erupt. Today we tried to make slime but actually ending up making goo. We still had lots of fun and explored the properties of the goo.
