In our R.E. lesson yesterday, we went outside on a mission to collect something beautiful and well designed from the natural world.  The children found a variety of beautifully formed leaves and flowers.  We then had some deep discussions about whether they were "designed" to be so beautiful or were they too amazing to have just grown like that by chance?  We also discussed the Big Bang Theory which sparked even more interesting debates!  Is God creating life right now on a different planet?   Did God create the big bang that created the universe?  Fantastic, mature discussions Year 5.  Well done!  Mrs Blomeley
