Year 4 arrived in a fantastic variety of costumes and had a brilliant World Book Day!   PC Plod arrested a few characters. including Gangsta Granny! The Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood challenged The Terminator and Little Bo Peep befriended Fantastic Mr Fox!  Following an author led assemby with Michael Thane,  the children shared extracts from their favourite books, back in class.  They even had a visit from Miss Laitl who read them a book called The Disgusting Sandwich!   Thank you to all of the parents who helped to make the day so enjoyable by inspiring the amazing costumes.  We love books!  Mrs Blomeley
