Year 5 had great fun when Vicky, the Science Boffin, arrived in school to demonstrate different aspects of Science in her assembly!  In their workshop, they learnt about atoms, and how static charge happens. It was interesting to see how the boys hair seemed to have more static charge than the girls!  Then the whole class witnessed their very own chemical reaction when they made slime!  To finish off the day, all classes went out onto the field to see Vicky the Science Boffin launch her rocket!  It went so high we lost sight for a while, but it did come back down to earth eventually!   Thanks to Miss Harvey for organising these  events - what a great day of Science!  Mrs Blomeley
