In Year 3 looked and spoke about innovations and what was meant by the term innovation. Children designed acrostic innovation poems and completed activities about classrooms of the future.  We can't wait to see the designs children complete at home for the science competition.

At home, children asked parents about their jobs, we shared these in class. Did you know engineers, food production managers and even hairdressers use science in their jobs. 

We watched an online live DNA detectives lesson by Dr Mandy where we learnt interesting facts about DNA.

As a class, children made cube towers and as part of a  Herd Community experiment we showed how important it was to be vaccinate. 

With the help of Mr Higham, children are going to be reading the electricity meter to monitor electricity usage.
