Today we had some great discussions with Safe Squad about online and personal safety. The children know about how to protect themselves by not sharing personal information online and using strong passwords. They discussed cyberbullying and how to use social media appropriately. We looked at the age recommentations for apps like Tik Tok and WhatsApp- did you know the recommended age for using WhatsApp is 16? Please see parental guidance on Online safety blog | NSPCC We discussed antisocial behaviour and hate crimes and the children are all confident that they know how to report things that may upset them out in the community.

We them looked at fire safety in the home and some basic CPR. Ask your child if they can remember what DR ABC stands for and what tune they had to sing to ensure they did 30 chest compressions?
