Food tasting from around Europe

Food tasting from around Europe

Today we all brought in a traditional food from a chosen European country and we got to taste them even if we thought we didn’t like them. Then we filled out a sheet where you had to name the food, the country it’s from and whether we liked it or disliked it. There was many food to try including; chorizo from Spain, feta cheese from Greece, fish and chips from the UK, Turkish delight from Turkey, Halloumi cheese from Cyprus, Monaco bites from Monaco, homemade beef stroganoff from Russia, homemade potato cakes from Ukraine, Belgium waffles, fried apricots from Bulgaria, pretzels from Germany, egg tarts from Portugal and many more. We had hardly any dislikes! It was all so delicious, I think the class favourite was the battered cod from the UK! Everyone joined in with the food tasting activity and people were surprised at the food they liked. It was a fantastic morning! It was wonderful and we would like to thank Miss Lewis for organising it and to all of our parents for buying all these delicious foods for us to try. Thank you.
