2020 is providing lots of opportunities for learning online. Below is an overview of some of the areas of Computing that children could be accessing as part of their home school learning.

E-SAFETY Home Learning 

As part of our Computing curriculum and RSE/PSHE lessons e-safety lessons are taught. 

We ask children how do they keep safe online?

The website: www.childnet.com     provides excellent video links and activities for children so that they can make the most of being online while keeping safe.

We welcome children to send e-safety posters into school, they can do so using Seesaw.

CODING in Computing

Coding website: www.hourofcode.com provides coding activities for all ages, this can be accessed at home during home learning.

KEYBOARD SKILLS in Computing

Dancemat typing on the bbc website is a great way for children to learn to type.
