Xander has completed the 7 mile challenge as part of the Tour of Tameside 2020. He has tied this in with his own challenge that he is doing for Dukinfield Youth Football Club. Xander and his team are doing a dribble a thon where as a team they have to dribble over 1000 miles in 30 days whilst raising money for the NHS and Grassroots Football. So far they have raised over £2000 and Xander is currently in the lead having dribbled over 50 miles so far! Fantastic achievement Xander! Keep going!
Abigail has been busy walking for the tour of Tameside challenge. She’s walked 12.5 miles in four days. One of her family's walks was a trip up the hill to watch the sunrise on Sunday morning.
We are impressed Abigail, well done.

Year 3 are starting to learn about World War 2, this theme will continue for June and July, it is an theme that is very much about local people and the history of WW2 and how it had such affects on people's lives. Contine to share work with us, we would love to hear if children have interviewed family members and friends (virtually of course) about their family history.
Xander has taken such care to design a skateboard for the competition.
Well done Xander.
Who else has designed a skateboard, send it to admin email or add it to Seesaw so we can see it.
